Over the past 4 years we have worked with this mid-sized distributor (a subsidiary of a large, private, family-owned distribution powerhouse) with a sales team of over 60 people across the country and ~25 sales support staff to streamline their field sales operations.


We implemented both of the solutions described above along with a sophisticated remote, mobile quote and order entry system that allowed them to extend and enhance their legacy distribution solution without having to make any changes to the legacy environment.  

We enhanced the real-time inventory lookup screens to include a shopping cart feature.  This allowed salespeople to add items directly to the cart while in discussions with customers about specific product availability.  The shopping cart could then be quickly converted to either a quote to be formatted, printed and emailed directly to the client or even directly into a sale order that is then transferred automatically to the legacy system for processing.

Along the way, we implemented a system that tracked and managed communications about the order between the salesperson, sales managers, sales support staff and executive management.  This streamlined operations and reduced errors and unnecessary, often missed emails, texts and phone calls.
